Nick Grecco

Biography

Nick Grecco is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and NASM Certified Personal Trainer at Iron Lion. Growing up in nearby Westchester County, Nick was a dedicated three-season runner in high school until persistent knee pain sidelined him in his late teens. This challenge sparked his journey into proper running technique, eventually leading him to the weight room and beyond. Since then, he has completed two Tough Mudders and ran a half marathon pain-free.

After majoring in Biology at Lehman College, Nick found himself working in the financial industry, where he eventually held a Vice President role. However, he decided to pursue work that resonated more deeply with him, leaving finance behind to focus on fitness. Even in his finance role, Nick was a resource for promoting health and fitness among his coworkers, serving as his firm’s Wellbeing Ambassador. The same systematic approach and desire for excellence that led to his previous success is what he brings to the Den community.

At Iron Lion, Nick brings a nerdy passion for fitness and health to the gym. He enjoys getting philosophical about the role of exercise and training in one’s life. He believes that powerful, efficient, and appropriate movement is the foundation for good living and that exercise is a keystone habit for greater success and health. Always seeking out new and innovative ideas, Nick lives to improve people’s movement and fitness so they can thrive both inside and outside the gym.

‘Movement is life. Life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself”. – Moshe Feldenkrais
